Activity
Her main research interests concern advanced multi-pass DInSAR techniques, particularly focused on full resolution DInSAR analyses aimed at investigating localized displacements affecting single buildings and man-made structures in urban areas. Currently, she is involved in the development and application of innovative DInSAR techniques to data acquired by new generation SAR sensors satellites, characterized by improved spatial resolutions and short revisit times. |
Curriculum
Manuela Bonano received the Master Degree (summa cum laude) in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cagliari, Cagliari, Italy, in 2004 and the Ph.D. Degree from the University of Rome "Sapienza", Rome, Italy, in 2012. Since 2007, she has been with the Istituto per il Rilevamento Elettromagnetico dell'Ambiente (IREA), where she currently holds a Research Fellow position. In 2011 she was a Visiting Student Researcher at the Earth and Planetary Science (EPS) Department of the University of California at Berkeley (UCB). Her main research interests are focused on the development of advanced multi-pass DInSAR techniques for ground deformation analyses in urban areas, aimed at investigating localized displacements affecting single buildings and man-made structures. Currently, she is involved in the development and application of innovative DInSAR techniques to data acquired by new generation SAR sensors satellites, characterized by improved spatial resolutions and short revisit times. |
